*French piece from the second half of the 19th century A circular brooch in 750‰ yellow and green gold, centred on a large lapis lazuli cabochon set in a multi-pronged setting with chiselled leaf-shaped claws; the surrounding band is adorned with a frieze of vine tendrils on an amati background and accented with a twisted motif. 750‰ yellow gold pin. With a mechanism for attaching to a bracelet. Diameter: 3.8 cm. Gross weight: 24.5 g. (Scratches). Presented in its red velvet case, signed ‘MARRET & JARRY Frères, Rue Vivienne, Paris’ and marked ‘M.D’. *Subject to inspection.
