Description
Piece from the second half of the 19th century A large circular brooch in 750‰ yellow gold, adorned with fine pearls, likely in a button shape, featuring a rich openwork setting decorated with foliage motifs and Greek friezes, highlighted by bands of black enamel and set with old-cut diamonds. Removable pin in 750‰ yellow gold. Features a detachable mechanism for versatile styling and suspension rings for wearing as a pendant. Diameter: 4.2 cm. Gross weight: 37.2 g. (Minor chips to the enamel, tiny flints). The brooch is accompanied by an analysis report from the LFG (French Gemmological Laboratory) dated 12/05/2026 (no. 425617), during which the central pearl was examined, specifying: Fine seawater pearl. Dimensions: approximately 10.1–11.4 × 6.5 mm. Colour: White with a slight cream tinge. Lustre: Good.
