Description
French piece from the second half of the 19th century A pair of 750‰ rose gold dormeuse earrings featuring openwork fleurons centred with half-pearls. 750‰ yellow gold clasp systems for pierced ears. Accompanied by removable ‘Pompons’ pendants in 750‰ two-tone gold with chiselled decorative friezes and multiple column links (added later, not original). Eagle’s Head hallmark on the main motif, Horse’s Head hallmark on the pendants. Rhomboid workshop hallmark. Dimensions: 4.2 x 1 cm. Gross weight: 7.8 g. (Distortions, cracks in the gold).
