French piece, circa 1900 750‰ yellow gold pocket watch, round case (30mm), white enamelled dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals and a railway-track minute scale, hand-wound mechanical movement, 750‰ yellow gold mainplate, the case back chiselled with a design of a swallow and a sprig of lily of the valley, enhanced with translucent enamel. Numbered ‘6138’. Diamond-shaped workshop hallmark. Horse’s Head hallmark, Departments, 1838–1919. Gross weight: 24 g. (Minor chips in the enamel; no guarantee of functionality; servicing required).
