Description
ATTILIO CODOGNATO
A magnificent and exceptional necklace and photo pendant in 18-carat yellow gold (750).
One side is adorned with a high-relief bust of a goddess, wearing a crown set with diamonds and featuring, in her hair, a brooch set with an emerald. She wears a necklace enhanced by an oval cabochon sapphire. The ensemble stands out against a blue enamelled chequered background, highlighted by two square rubies.
The reverse features a design of four finely chiselled and polychrome-enamelled chimeras, alternating with four square rubies. In the centre, a bezel-set medallion containing a yellow sapphire opens onto a bouquet of sculpted and enamelled roses. The reverse of the medallion is signed A. Codognato.
The pendant opens fully via a hinge to reveal two plain oval plates in 18k white gold (750 fineness), allowing for personalised engraving or the insertion of a photograph.
The rim is adorned with a black-enamelled foliage motif, set with four Antwerp-cut rose diamonds, one cushion-cut antique diamond, two oval rubies and four emeralds. The bail is set with two diamonds, one an Antwerp-cut rose-cut diamond in a diamond shape, the other a pear-shaped rose-cut diamond.
The pendant is accompanied by its necklace with twisted oval links, fitted with a ratchet clasp with a safety catch.
Dimensions of the pendant: 7.8 × 4.5 × 4 cm
Length of the necklace: 91 cm
Total gross weight: 185.5 g
