Rare ladies’ “cocktail” wristwatch
Art Deco period, circa 1930
- Rectangular, bevelled case in platinum (950) with a geometric shape; the bezel and clasps entirely set with brilliant-cut and 8/8-cut diamonds. The upper and lower lugs feature an articulated geometric motif, also set with diamonds. Fluted winding crown at 3 o’clock.
- Rectangular dial with a silvery cream background, railway-track minute track. Black painted Arabic numerals for the hours. ‘Sword-style’ hands.
- Double cord-style black leather strap, enhanced by two platinum loops set with diamonds. Ratchet clasp, fitted with a safety chain in 750 white gold.
- Hand-wound mechanical movement.
