Description
SARREGUEMINES. Three small subjects in fine stoneware depicting a drunkard leaning against a barrel (known as "Monsieur Grégoire"), a peasant woman with her broom (known as "Madame Grégoire") and a young black servant with a large basket. Marked ("Sarreguemines" stamp + imperial eagle stamps on the last two) and numbered "141 N", "277" and "140". Circa 1870-1880. Max. height 15 cm (two very slight chips; the end of the broom is missing).
