A chest of drawers made of rosewood veneer, palisander and light-coloured wood inlays, decorated with a butterfly-wing scroll motif; a projecting front with two drawers; straight side panels with faux fluting; and slightly curved legs. Stamped J◊STUMPFF for Jean-Chrysostome STUMPFF (admitted as a master on 27 August 1766). Louis XV–Louis XVI transitional period. Dimensions: 89 x 85 x 43 cm. Gilded bronze fittings. Top in grey Saint-Anne marble (added later).
