Description
Robert Thibier (1926–2001), interior designer and publisher. Special commission, circa 1980. A desk with a wooden frame veneered with stainless steel sheets and gilded metal strips, featuring two drawers at the front; the top is fitted with a glass panel revealing a chequerboard pattern of gold- and chrome-finished steel sheets. Desk designed and crafted for the interior of a Parisian flat in the 14th arrondissement in 1981, a former artist’s studio converted into a duplex.
