Description
Small armchair in moulded, carved beech, lacquered grey, with a moulded, curved seat and backrest, rosette-adorned connecting blocks, supported by tapered, fluted legs. Stamped ‘J.B. BOULARD’, for Jean-Baptiste Boulard, who was granted master’s status in 1755 and was a supplier to the Crown.
Louis XVI period
Upholstered in raspberry-coloured velvet.
Dimensions: 86 x 43 x 47 cm.
