A set of three different pieces of jewellery for festive occasions or weddings from the Turkmen Tekke (Central Asia), late 19th/early 20th century, in low-carat silver (800°°°), comprising:
- a triple cuff bracelet, with chiselled motifs punctuated by carnelian plaques.
Weight: 248g. Dimensions: 16.5 x 8.5 cm;
- a wedding braid set, comprising serpent chains, gilded silver plates with chiselled flower pendants set with flat carnelian cabochons, bell-shaped pendants ending in five domes, small chains and bells.
Weight: 853 g. Dimensions: 55 x 18.5 cm;
- a gold-plated silver tiara with friezes, interspersed with flat carnelian cabochons, serpent chains ending in bells. The chased gold-plated silver plates are centred with light blue glass paste cabochons.
Weight: 462 g. Dimensions: 62 cm / 5.5 cm and 18 cm with chains.
