VACHERON & CONSTANTIN movement
A watch from the 1940s, with a square 18-carat yellow gold (750 thousandths) case and a clip-on caseback (unsigned). Silver-coloured dial (restored and faded) with painted hour markers and blackened steel lance-shaped hands bearing a later Vacheron Constantin signature. Fitted crocodile leather strap (Crocodylia spp., CITES Appendix II B).
