Jean TROTAIN
Rectangular beauty case in guilloché-worked silver (800 ‰), decorated with an applied Greek fret pattern in 18-carat yellow gold (750 ‰) and bands of black enamel. The lid is set with a nephrite jade plaque, openwork with animal and plant motifs, held in place by clasps set with rose-cut diamonds. The interior has two compartments, one for lipstick and one for a mirror. Art Deco work, silversmith’s hallmark.
