An 18K yellow gold (750‰) pocket watch, with a mechanical movement wound by key, and a circular white enamelled dial featuring Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The case back is finely chased with a cartouche bearing the initials ‘FF’ within a border of flowers and foliage on a guilloché background. The dust cover, also in 18K yellow gold (750‰), is engraved with ‘SAINSON’ in Châtillon. 19th century. Gross weight: 27.2 g. (slight dents).
