An 18K yellow gold (750‰) pocket watch, with a hand-wound mechanical movement, a circular white enamelled dial featuring Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, and a seconds counter at 6 o’clock. The case back is finely chiselled with a cartouche featuring numerals and foliage on a guilloché background. The dust cover, also in 18K yellow gold (750‰), is engraved with ‘Fabriques G. TRIBAUDEAU de Besançon’. Late 19th century. Gross weight: 62.5 g.
