A 925 thousandths silver teapot, standing on a pedestal, with oriental-inspired decoration and foliage, the body engraved with the coat of arms of the Baillehache family, ivory isolators (elephantidae spp*). Goldsmith: Debain & Flamant Paris, 1864-1880 (Scratches, bumps and accidents, notably on the foot). Height 27 cm; Gross weight: 637 g. *An ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to 1 July 1947 and therefore in conformity with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-W SCE and SPMC, and prior to 1 July 1975 and therefore in conformity with the French decrees of 4 May 2017 and January 2022.
