Bracelet in 18k (750 thousandths) yellow gold with a scroll motif entirely in translucent blue enamel guilloché and set with rose-cut diamonds, each of the two ends formed by a floret set with round or cushion-cut diamonds. France, 19th century (Worn and missing.) Diameter (inside): 6 cm; Width (at ends): 5.3 cm (approx.); Gross weight: 96.5 g. With a jewellery box from the Maison MARRET et BAUGRAND Joailliers, bijoutiers de S.M. l'Empereur 19 rue de la Paix (damaged). MARRET et BAUGRAND was active between 1852 and 1864. Provenance : - From an aristocratic family in western France; - According to family tradition, this bracelet was given by Empress Eugénie to one of her goddaughters, the ancestor of the current owners.
