Covered teapot and sugar bowl in silver 925 thousandths, resting on a pedestal, the body decorated with guilloche motifs and medallion engraved with a crown, ivory isolators (elephantidae spp*). Goldsmiths: Henin et Cie (the teapot), Fray Fils (the sugar bowl) Paris, circa 1875-1891 (Scratches and accidents.) Height 17 cm (teapot); Gross weight: 1023 g. *An ivory specimen of Elephantidae spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to 1 July 1947 and therefore in conformity with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-W SCE and SPMC, and prior to 1 July 1975 and therefore in conformity with the French decrees of 4 May 2017 and January 2022.
