A hinged pewter diptych for private devotion; the first panel bears the monogram ‘IM’ within a chalice framed by a laurel wreath, the interior depicting Saint Peter with the Latin inscription ‘Fluit Unda meis an Mirum ex oculis fit’, the second panel depicting Christ crucified on a vine stalk with the inscription "Quid est quod debui ultra facere vinae ete etnon feci", (wear, scratches, minor knocks, upper element missing) Probably 19th century. Length when open: 26 cm.
