Description
A first-hallmark (950°/°°) silver sugar bowl in the shape of an antique cup, resting on four lion’s-paw feet. The base is chased with a frieze of openwork palmettes. The body is formed of upright sections in the shape of winged female figures. The handles are finished with lion’s heads. The plain lid is surmounted by a terrace of acanthus leaves. The interior is lined with blue glass.
