A first-grade (950°/°°) silver sugar bowl in the shape of a Mécidis vase, resting on a square base supported by four spherical feet. The handles, in the shape of cornucopias, rest on the heads of Bacchus. The plain lid is edged with a beaded frieze. The rim is chased with palmettes on an amati ground. The handle is in a split-seed design.
