A first-grade (950°/°°) silver sugar bowl in the shape of a Medici vase, resting on a square base supported by spherical feet. The body is partially openwork, featuring a motif of figures of Athena. The handles are topped with lion’s heads. The domed lid is surmounted by a handle in the form of a split seed. The interior is of cut blue glass. Silversmith: D. Garreau. Registered in 1817. Paris 1809–1819. Height: 20 cm. Weight: 285 g
