First-grade silver dish (950°/°°) with five contours edged with moulded fillets.
Silversmiths: Georges BOIN and HENRY for the Boin-Taburet firm.
In 1860, the antique dealer Georges BOIN and the jeweller Emile TABURET joined forces to found the Boin-Taburet firm at 3 Rue Pasquier in Paris.
From 1900, silversmith HENRY joined the firm and replaced Emile Taburet; the name became ‘Boin et Henry’, with the hallmark from 1901 to 1931 being ‘H Fres’ – a stool.
