Silver vegetable dish, first hallmark (950°/°°), with a plain body and Greek-style handles, decorated with palmettes and fleurons. The upper rim is moulded. The plain, domed lid is edged with a frieze of fillets; the split-bead handle rests on a water-leaf base. The lid is engraved with a combined coat of arms beneath a crest, and the motto ‘Credo Amo Spero ’.
