Description
An oil cruet with silver stoppers in the shape of a shuttle, resting on four twisted legs. The plain body is decorated with a frieze of intertwined ribbons and medallions surrounded by palmettes in its upper section. The partially openwork cruet holders consist of uprights chased with vine tendrils. The stopper holders, supported by a vine trunk, feature the same ornamentation. The stoppers are chased with spiralling channels and vine leaves.
