A two-tone gold wax case, decorated with guilloché dots within lined frames, edged with friezes of small flowers and green gold dots on an amati background. The seal, engraved with a coat of arms beneath a marquis’s crown and the motto ‘En Dieu j’espère’ (‘In God I hope’), is made of pâte de verre.
