A lidded cup in 950°° silver, resting on four ball-shaped feet, the body featuring an openwork design of seahorses, the handles formed of palmette motifs, accompanied by its blue-tinted glass, the lid adorned with a frieze of water leaves.
Engraved on the base with the initials J and V surmounted by a crown. Crab hallmark, Minerva hallmark, hallmark of the Silversmiths’ Guild (1793–1794) and master’s hallmark.
