Patron of Art Collection: Homage to Victoria and Albert, “Homage to Victoria”
White and green lacquered fountain pen, resin. Pen barrel in 18K gold (750). Numbered 0429/4810. Piston-fill system.
Size M nib in 18K gold (750) dated 2022.
Unscrewable cap and clip set with a synthetic green stone.
Includes two protective plastic covers, its original presentation box and cardboard case, and its booklet to which a warranty certificate dated 17 December 2023 is attached.
This pen, the latest release in the “Patron of Art” collection, is produced alongside the “Homage to Albert” pen. The pen’s cap is adorned with the quote “I will be good”, a phrase Victoria is said to have uttered upon her accession to the throne in 1837, when she was just 18 years old.
The pearl white evokes her youth and purity, whilst the light green was one of her favourite colours. Beneath the lacquer, motifs inspired by Victorian aesthetics are visible, evoking the surroundings of the Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens. The top of the cap features the crown motif so often worn by Queen Victoria.
