Maison CARTIER. Rare Art Deco enamelled vermeil and jade-nephrite plate clock. Dial with iron track and Arabic numerals, marked 8 DAYS, CARTIER and SWISS. Mounting numbered 6365 on reverse. Unreadable ovoid silver hallmark on the lower right front base, and STERLING in an oval below the base. 1920s. 13.6 x 4.2 x h. 10.9 cm. Surface oxidation on the gilt silver. Functional movement but in need of revision.
