WURTEL & PIEFORT, Paris, 1874. Musical clock depicting a village scene. Trace of signature (Prunardière?) lower left (tear). The case reveals a Parisian clock movement and a "Geneva" music box (74 bars) playing 4 different tunes. Perfectly functional set, overhauled about ten years ago by Jean-Louis Barbier, formerly of rue Jeanne d'Arc in Nancy. Max. dimensions with frame: 81.5 x 97 x 18 cm.
