18K yellow gold (750/000) pocket watch, with an enamelled dial featuring Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic numeral minute markers, openwork gold hands (one metal restoration), beaded case, cock-style movement, chain and fusee, verge escapement; the case back adorned with a three-gold medallion depicting doves in a landscape, surrounded by a frieze of pearls. Late 18th century. Attached by a double chain in 18K yellow gold (750/000) to a retractable watch key mechanism, in the shape of a key, finely chiselled with a motif of fruit and flowers and set with a cushion-cut amethyst.
