Description
A small, rectangular cabinet in ebony veneer and blackened wood, inlaid with framing bands and decorated with ivory and bone plaques engraved with figures dressed in ancient style, small flowers, foliage, birds and dogs set within leafy scrolls. It opens via two doors revealing a large drawer designed to appear as three, surmounted by a small door which is itself surmounted by a false drawer and flanked by three drawers on either side; this reveals a compartment surmounted by a small drawer. It rests on flattened ball feet (attached).
