- The upper cover is richly engraved with a rocaille scrollwork motif framing an empty coat-of-arms cartouche, with a foliage border and a hunting dog in profile. The lower cover is richly engraved with a stag set against a woodland backdrop. Guilloché backgrounds.
- White enamel dial, Roman numerals for the hours, gilded ball-tipped hands.
- Case signed ‘J.L Goutte & Cie à Genève / Hands / No. 7306 / Cylinder escapement / Eight ruby jewels’.
- Mechanical movement, wound by key through the case.
