HUGEX "Bernard-Moteurs" pilot’s chronograph Circa 1957 Men’s chronograph wristwatch in chrome-plated metal and steel. - Round case, chrome-plated metal bezel, fluted crown. Stainless steel screw-down caseback featuring an engraved inscription of historical interest: “S.A. BERNARD-MOTEURS / A.H. MAZUET / 1957” along with the serial number 115027. - Original cream/silver-coloured dial with a beautiful, even patina. Applied Arabic numerals. Two recessed sub-dials: a 30-minute totaliser at 3 o’clock and a perpetual small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Gold-coloured hands, central chronograph seconds hand. Tachymeter (red/black peripheral) and telemeter scales. ‘HUGEX/FAB. SUISSE’ at 12 o’clock and ‘SWISS MADE’ at 6 o’clock. - Manual-winding mechanical movement. - Brown crocodile-style leather strap, with a fitted metal pin buckle. Diameter: 34 mm Condition: In good overall condition for a timepiece of this era. Signs of normal wear and tear, with some chipping of the plating on the chrome-plated metal case and the push-buttons. The watch was not running at the time of valuation; a service is required. Sold as is, without the original box or papers.
