Description
MAUBOUSSIN, Paris & Verger Frères. Circa 1940. A serpent-style bracelet featuring two rows of tubular links, each ending in knot motifs—some visible, others concealed—with one holding two pendants set with natural rubies (Myan Mar), the other, larger knot forming a box clasp secured by a curved bridge of three rows of round natural rubies (Myan Mar, unheated), the whole highlighted by a section of the motif set with eight-eight cut diamonds. Hallmark of the Verger Frères firm, which was taken over a little later by the Georges Lenfant workshop. Clasp security needs re-soldering (supplied). Signed, located and numbered 11139 and 4035 (ruby bridge), some traces of repairs. Gross weight: 78.5 g; length: 17.5 cm.
