England, London. Set of six mechanical tilting clocks, circa 1750, as found, with domed white-enamelled dials (one missing), missing hands, verge escapements, meeting wheels, chain and fusées. Two cock-shaped clocks with clasp backs, featuring openwork foliage decoration; one with an openwork decoration on the plate, signed Wilders, and the other, Graham (Bréguet hands). Four cock-and-heel clocks with openwork foliage and urn motifs… Signed Bride, G. F. Sampion (without dial), Anderton and Bolton. (Shows signs of wear)
