SARREGUEMINES Earthenware Works (Utzschneider & Cie) A set of three commemorative plates in fine earthenware with printed designs celebrating the Franco-Russian Alliance. The plates depict, respectively, Tsar Nicholas II surrounded by military scenes, the imperial couple during their visit to Paris in October 1896, and the wedding of Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna. Printed and embossed marks on the reverse. Diameter: 21 cm. Condition: signs of age, slight stains, three hanging holes on the reverse of one plate.
