Description
MARSEILLE, Veuve Perrin workshop (18th century).
Polychrome-decorated earthenware oil and vinegar set. It comprises a shuttle-shaped display stand with openwork galleries and a central handle. It is accompanied by its two handled cruets: one is decorated with a lively scene set against a landscape, the other with a bouquet of flowers centred on a rose. The monogram ‘VP’ is painted on the reverse of one of the bases.
Condition: in good overall condition, only one stopper present out of the two, slight wear and tear from use. Dimensions: 19 x 24.5 x 13 cm.
