Description
A set of 166 breast badges, known as ‘pucelles’, made of brass-plated, silver-plated and enamelled metal. This lot includes a wide variety of departmental fire service (SDIS) badges as well as some fine examples from the overseas territories, notably including badges from French Polynesia and the Antilles-Guyana. It also includes a substantial and attractive series dedicated to the Young Firefighters’ Sections (JSP), representing numerous French municipalities. Overall in good condition, with normal signs of wear and tear. Many badges are glued to their backing.
