ART NOUVEAU NECKLACE
Made from twisted brown cord, centred with a carved horn pendant depicting a dragonfly amidst a cherry blossom motif, holding in its legs a turquoise-effect glass paste cabochon and suspending a glass paste teardrop as a pendant.

Based in Paris, Bonté specialised in using horn to create sinuous pieces enhanced with touches of glass, glass paste, resin and synthetic turquoise.
Inspired by Lalique, she created naturalistic pieces depicting flowers, trees and insects, which were very popular during the Art Nouveau period.
