Lot comprising a 9K 375/1000 gold oval photo pendant-medallion and a 14K (585/1000) gold brooch.
Total gross weight: 17.68 g.
The oval pendant-medallion with engraved geometric design enhanced by black enamel, set with four vertically arranged half-pearls (one missing), the guilloché reverse centred on a plain unengraved oval cartouche, held by a mobile clasp.
Late 19th century.
Punched with a trefoil
Dimensions: 2.6 x 2.2 cm.
Gross weight: 2.59 g.
(Condition: deformed, rubbed, oxidised, dented and missing. Split edge).
The brooch is set with a large, slightly domed, rectangular cut-cabochon aventurine set in 14K (585/1000) gold.
Size: approximately 33 × 24 mm.
Unmarked
(Slight wear and traces of oxidation on the setting; pin slightly veiled. Aventurine in good overall condition, with a few minor knocks).
Warranty notice: no hallmark because part is not gold. The 14K 585/1000 acid test seems to be conclusive.
