A diamond-shaped medal depicting the Virgin Mary, veiled and with a halo, resting on a bouquet of roses in yellow gold (750 parts per thousand). Embellished with blue and red openwork plique-à-jour enamel, reminiscent of a stained-glass window.
Signed Mazzoni (engraver). Engraved on the reverse: ‘First name 19 May 1928’.
Dated early 20th century.
