CARTIER Tank Chronoreflex, ref. 2312, n° 230374CD Circa 2000 18k (750) white gold wristwatch chronograph with date Rectangular curvex case, winding crown set with a faceted sapphire, screw-lock, signed White dial, Roman numerals, 2 totalizers, sub-dial for date indication, railway minute track with 1/5 second graduation, signed Quartz movement (battery replacement required) Gold bracelet Gold folding clasp, signed Wrist size: approx. 19 cm Size: approx. 44 x 26 mm Gross weight: 158.4 g. With an additional link (5.80 g) and a Cartier suede pouch. Introduced to the Cartier collections in 1989, the Tank Américaine was inspired by the design of the 1920s Tank Cintrée. In 1994, a chronograph version appeared, marketed under the reference 2312 and equipped with a Chronoflex quartz movement. Invented by Piaget in 1991, the Chronoflex was one of the world's smallest quartz movements. Combining a calendar and a chronograph, this remains a special watch in the Cartier universe.
