A beautiful Art Nouveau storage bench in carved and waxed walnut; the seat is adorned with its original upholstery in printed cotton featuring a floral pattern (with some wear); the backrest features a carved bas-relief panel depicting a young woman holding a tray (monogrammed EH). The backrest is topped by two fine carvings of owls and anemone flowers. Armrests with curled ends. Circa 1900. 201 x 51 x height 166 cm.
