20th-century French school. Presumed portrait of Félix MAYOL (1872–1941) wearing a Borsalino hat and a white scarf, a famous singer with close ties to the city of Toulon. Behind him are several posters advertising his own concerts, as well as those of singers such as Maurice Chevalier (whom he helped to launch) and Georgel, etc. Pastel and gouache on paper, signed (indecipherable) in the bottom left-hand corner.
