LONGWY Enamel Works, Paul MIGNON (1930–2012), designer. “Bocage”. Large, lens-shaped dish in polychrome glazed earthenware with gold highlights, decorated with a medieval hunting scene. Stamped on the reverse, numbered 121/150 and inscribed “To Mr BOUBEL, 31 August 1963”. Diameter 36.7 cm. This may refer to Jean-Robert Boubel (1905–1977), a retired infantry captain.
