Volodymyr ODREHIWSKI (born 1955). *The Dream*. A beautiful, large bronze cast with a medal-style patina, depicting a young nude woman curled up on a rock. Signed and dated ‘1996’ on the back of the rock, and marked with the letter ‘A’. H. = 35.2 cm. Volodymyr Odrehiwski is a renowned Ukrainian sculptor. Also a professor and doctor at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, he undertook a fellowship at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is particularly renowned for his elegant bronze sculptures, often depicting nudes, doves or scenes of motherhood.
