Description
Charles Nicolas BAZIN (1847–1915). Bow with a round stick made of fine orange-brown pernambuco wood, 70.8 cm in length; the ebony frog with mother-of-pearl inlays, mounted in nickel silver, with rounded corners, a square, one-piece heel secured by two pins and a slide secured by two pins; the frog is made of ebony and nickel silver in three pieces, with a double groove, one pin in each ferrule (the rear ferrule is hammered). Circa 1890. With its certificate from the Jean-François RAFFIN Expert Bowmakers’ Workshop. (the frog needs to be reattached to the screw)
