White marble and gilded bronze clock, decorated with acanthus leaves, cornucopias, laurel wreaths, arches and arrows; enamelled dial with a railway-track minute scale and Roman numeral hour markers, signed ‘Pochon à Paris’; the original spring-driven movement has been replaced by a more recent one, stamped ‘AD Mougin’ (circa 1890–1908).
