Set of framed medals, comprising: a Second World War cross; a Knight's cross of the Order of the Legion of Honour of the Fourth Republic; an Officer's cross of the National Order of Merit; a medal of honour for work; a serviceman's cross; a Knight's medal of the Order of Military Merit; a cross for voluntary military service; a departmental and communal medal of honour; a bar with seven medal reductions and four table medals. They belonged to André Bietry, who joined the 153rd Infantry Regiment as a private 2nd class, was appointed chief warrant officer on 1 March 1939, taken prisoner in September of that year and released on 15 May 1945.
